returned from sjab 'fun' camp yesterday. had less than 6hours sleep there. and we woke up at 2.45am for night hike=x 7-8km. yingqiu was alrdy dying and all of us dozed off at the bukit timah nature reserve. the hike was rlly good in a way jim, yingqiu and i learnt to think about alot of stuff. firstly, i learnt not to be so selfish and say i want to experience war cause jim and other men will be fighting real hard there and may die. and we must always be prepared for anything, seriously anything. like for example we were walking along some forested area, rlly dark. then i was asking, ' what if now there're smugglers among the trees and they saw us looking at them. what will u do?' OR what if, the truck filled with soldiers stopped and handpicked some of us and drag us away? have u ever thought of that? this may sound ridiculous BUT we have to be prepared what. right? right!
so the camp wasnt that fun as expected but at least we tried the rock climbing and absailing. rock climb was kinda horrendous and super tiring. arms aching like hell up there so sinee, yingqiu and i just gave up. ahahas. mok din managed to try. which was super sad=x
and there were FROGS jumping=x oh goodness. that cannot be worse than anything else la. small tiny creatures leaping arnd. disgusting.
today i was reading straits time after i got back from school. on the front page it says,'6 yrs old drowned at sentosa hotel pool' and i looked at the picture. super familiar. i read on and realised that the deceased was actually my former tuition teacher's child. like super sad. so at that moment, i was thinking. DAMN. such things happen so close to you. can you imagine if one day you wake up, flip the paper and find your best friend's photo in there?
life is indeed so short. cmon and make full use of it. dont think so much and dont let hatred take over you/ cause u will nv know when someone is gng to die.
