KL trip

departed for KL on 14th march.flew over at night with mich and meiyi!! made a angmoh frd on the bus. turned out we were heading for the same hostel. the hostel consisted of like 99% eurasians and 1% asians. woohoo!=D the room wasnt bad and common bathroon was clean! aha. free breakfast was bread and more bread. well what can you expect. 10 bucks per night leh. and oh ya, when we alighted from the bus, it was alrdy near 12 midnight and we were greeted by a gang of eh delinquents? worse than that i suppose. eew.

the room. small but sufficient

first day we woke up too early and times square was like a ghost town. rotted for a few hours before some shops were opened0.o shopped for a while before heading to nippon tei for lunch. very cheap and good jap food. haha. and we went to try the fish spa. omg. effing scary. only meiyi was able to overcome her fears and went for it. mich and i hum-ed. EEE. and the shopkeepers must have been pissed with us, cause their intake fell from 60++ RM to only 10RM. HAHA like we care.

went over to sentral which was super disappointing and a waste of time. not to mention horrifying-ly scary. cause there were hell lot of people and mich was so worried that the monorail might collapse-.- spent like 20mins there and we headed to sungei wang which was really good! things not as cheap as compared to times sq but the quality and range is better and wider. WOO! but we didnt have enough time to cover the whole building. AWW. 2 days is just not enough.

the following day, we went pavillon, this high end place, but the things can be really cheap during sales season. tangs was having sales that day and the shoes were really cheap!! too bad, most of them were very high heels. very impractical for school/shopping trips. lot10 was NTH and we went back times sq to get shoes. and we did manicure! meiyi went for fish spa AGN. eew. haha.

overall, i felt that the trip was insufficient to curb shopping fantasies. 2days is really pathetic. we shud stay for a week? so we can explore mother nature and ride on elephants too. and get to eat good seafood=( all we had were food from restaurants. aiya. oh BUT we feel very proud of ourselves cause we planned the whole trip all by ourselves=)) CHEERS. okay so what if it's 2 days. we had to look for hostels, directions, plan itinery bla bla. all in all, a great experience, and i hope we(FRDS!!) can venture out to hongkong/taiwan!!=D haha. maybe jessyca can be our tour guide. YES. and huimin= it's actually not as dangerous as we thought it would be, cause most of time we were indoors=D)
