sch ends

2 weeks ago, it was the last day of sch for the students. thus my colleague and i got something for them. food. haha. we told them that it was most probably the last time we would see them. and there were mixed reactions. some went,' YES!' basket-.- while some went," WHY?!=(" 'cause i have to go study, like you!' i replied. haha and they were like. i thought u finish studying already! shant elaborate too much to them, given their ability to understand. lol. they will most probably ask many many questions following my explanation. gave them krispy treats, some fangs and chummy sweets and london choco roll! haha. and they were singing the jingle0.o
29 may marked the start of GSS! havent gotten anything yet=( on that day, tgt with my colleagues, we went to JP to watch Monsters VS Aliens! SUPER HILARIOUS i tell you. lol. i always thought watching 'cartoons' in a theatre was a complete waste of money, but this movie proved me wrong! lol it will activate your laugh cells, confirm. cause i was laughing hysterically at those stupid creatures. haha.
1st June. marked the start of holidays for the kids, and the beginning of SAI GANG for us=((( i had to cab down to NUS to hand in a form because it was due then. haha.
3rd June. marked the start of LSP camp for the lower ability kids. and that day i finally met up with mich and meiyi! we ate at pepper lunch. mich and i bought a 10 bucks bag from talisman. haha.
4th June, accompanied the kids to some dinosaur show. it was more of a show and tell. rather over-rated and overpriced i guess=/ but the kids had so much fun playing with the HAY ground so i guess their 25 bucks was worth it. HAHA
5th June marked the end of the LSP camp. while my 2 other colleagues felt super lethargic and restless, i felt super proud and had this sense of achievement. because i managed to teach this kid to read one sentence for recording. he was really sad cause he couldnt read a thing and the teacher was quite pissed. so i tried to teach him. and after the recording, he came to me and said,' i know how to read! i know how to read!!' omg i felt so excited for him!=D so he made my efforts worth it. this moment is when all your sian-ness and tiredness will just poof away! haha
6th June. i attended a wedding lunch! my colleague was getting married. haha. it was held at peony jade and the food i must say was very good! except for the shark fins soup. very plain. the rest was=D

TODAY! half day at work cause of electricity cut. ate at lot 1 with zihui and went home. my mom and i are working on this cross stitch thingy. haha. has been quite fun. dont know how will i feel after a week's time=/

very lengthy post with no pics=(! and mich and i are contemplating on gng hk or taiwan during july. my mom has been silent about this whenever i ask her for permission, well silence means consent right..=/ and was thinking maybe huimin can come with us but she will have sch then! ahhh! sian. and im gng to learn KOREAN outside!! and French in uni=) wish me luck! haha five years down the road, maybe i will be able to speak 5 languages! WEEE=D

and OMG! i am freaking in love with the korean drama, boys over flowers. lol first time gng so fanatic over korean drama=/ the main lead is freaking handsome despite his maggie mee hair. go check him out! lee min ho!!
