Wong Dae Bak Korean Restaurant

About 2 weeks back, I had korean food with Zengwei. There are many different korean restaurants located around Tanjong Pagar area and after some googling, we decided to settle on Wong Dae Bak. Apparently, many koreans go there for food so it must be quite good right! It was really good but we overestimated our hunger and ordered way too much food~.~ (Ok la, actually he was against getting the stew with noodles but I sort of insisted cause it looks so good on the menu omg and I couldn't resist instant noodles hehehe) We couldn't complete the food and had to takeaway the seafood pancake because it would be such a waste (we had more than half the pancake left hahaha).

Oh we went to the branch at Amoy street first but it was very crowded and the staff recommended us to walk over to the branch at China Square which was spacious and 'sparsely' occupied hahaha.

The food we ordered! hahaha. We had marinated beef ribs, marinated spicy chicken, the huge ass pancake and the stew (LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF INGREDIENTS INSIDE- we kept eating and eating but the food seemed to magically kept multiplying on their own ~.~). The marinated meats were very good, very tender and flavorful and you would really be full after the meat. Initially we were thinking, eh a few pieces of meat wouldn't be very filling right~~ We were so wrong hahaha. The pancake was good, at the start, like some pieces were exceptionally fragrant and salty enough (yummy) but then as we had more of it, it got a little bit tasteless, I don't know why~~ The stew was very worth it please, like what I said, there was so much food inside the flat pan. I don't know how they managed to put all the food inside hahaha. Oh they even gave us free refill of soup which was good :B. I would definitely go back for the marinated meat and the stew hehehe, not so much for the pancake x.x~~
