2 tablespoons of milk
half a teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 slices of bread
I love vanilla extract because it's so fragrant! adds an additional tinge of taste to the eggy french toast. That said, I'm missing the caramelized FT from Antoinette. It's a bit tedious to prepare caramel at home (you can do it by boiling a can of condensed milk- but be very careful because you have to keep the lid on, soooo... you really have to watch over the fire and the can lest it explodes:/).
