Updates

Finally a change in my blog template! It's super plain because I have zilch creative juice in me!:( I had been trying to mix and match colours, background themes, images for the whole day and then I just gave up; decided on a minimalist white finish eventually. Must start on the updates now!

1. Just flew back from my 'grad trip'! Min and I flew to Macau first where we also made a day trip to Zhuhai and then took a ferry to Hongkong a day after. Spent 4 days in Hongkong before heading to Taipei where we traveled in this particular sequence- Taichung-> Cingjing-> Kaoshiung-> Hualien-> Taipei! We spent almost 10 days in Taiwan and flew back on the 2 June:(

2. During our stay in Taipei, I got bitten by bed bugs:( The bites are all over my calves and some on my thighs and arms. They are super itchy and the cream prescribed by the chinese physician is not working very well unfortunately. I'm super worried the bites would leave scars on my legs (I look like I have some leg disease or infection now, zzz)

3. Results today! Last sms I will receive from NUS. Did pretty well this semester but alas, a second lower only:/ but considering the effort I had put in for the past 4 years, I must say the results had been pretty satisfying, with a few exceptions of course (Like the freaking mod on biopsychoemotions -_- and introduction to social work -___-)

4. Tutee's results! One of my tutee did above average (not exceptionally well but still a Band 1 so yay!) and improved tremendously on her Science subject! hehehe so yippee for both of us! I was still so worried for her Science until yesterday when her mum called me to update me on her results. She even asked if it would be possible for me to tutor her in Math. I am still deciding, considering the fact that I will be teaching full time soon and doubt I will have the time for 3 subjects:/ My other tutees have yet to update me on their results. Keeping my fingers crossed :/ Hopefully, they will be satisfied with their results and ofc show improvements:/

That's all I have to update. I really want to pen down every single detail of my trip but I want to wait for photos from Min first! Teehee! There were definitely some hits and misses along the whole trip and not forgetting eeky accommodation which I definitely must blog about, zzz! Till the next!
