My sister and I had always wanted to visit Sea Aquarium for a while! We decided to go this week cause I will be starting work next week already:c We wanted to beat the weekend crowd so decided to go asap before both of us start work! We had originally wanted to wake up early for it and then head to Adventure Cove (we had previously purchased the annual pass so had to make it worth! hahaha) after that but we thought it would be too troublesome to lug so many stuff to the aquarium:/ and of course I could not wake up that early:/ I have been waking up at 11 plus 12 these days I wonder how I am gonna survive my teaching days (omg).

Ok so we reached the aquarium at around 12.40pm? We went for some pirate show at the theatre and we exited to the aquarium! The aquarium showcases a huge variety of marine animals and they are displayed according to their habitats I think! Oh! There is this Sharks sea where you can see many different types of sharks (my sister and I love this display the most but sadly, the sharks were not as magnificent as we thought they would be:/). Another highlight of the aquarium has got to be the Open ocean! It's like a humongous tank in front of you (think the size of an auditorium?) so there were tons of photo taking opportunities with the fishes there! Hehehe! We finished the entire tour of the aquarium in about an hour? Overall, we thought it was quite average and even though it is the world's largest aquarium, it was not that fantastic in our opinion:/ Thankfully we managed to get the tickets at a discounted price hahaha ($18 each). Oh! There were MANY MANY tourists from China and Korea and we absolutely could not stand how loud the the China tourists were. So it was quite crowded in the aquarium despite being a weekday (boooo).

This is us feeling super excited for the aquarium!!
 Color changing jellies! So amazing!^^
This is us at the 'open ocean'!

Sissy with the giant grouper. It was super lazy and it just froze there. People swarmed towards it to take photos hahahaha!
Colorful fishes!

We left for lunch/tea at TCC at Vivo! TCC's having a promo till the end of the month! Members can enjoy a 1 for 1 main course deal while non members can enjoy a 50% off the second main course! The waitress was very nice and allowed us to contact our friends who we think might be members to get their nric number hehehe. But alas, we had no 'tcc member' friends booo. My sissy ordered the Penne Mama Mia while I ordered the Aglio Olio with scallops and prawns. Initially, I was undecided between the wagyu beef pasta and the aglio but I was won over by the scallops and succulent prawns eventually :B. I had previously tried the aglio at the Bugis branch and it was disappointing. I thought another branch would be different (since it was their signature dish) but the aglio served at Vivo was equally disappointing. It was abit too spicy for my liking and the garlic taste was not strong enough. The scallops and prawns were very fresh tho! My sister's Penne was goooood! The Penne was baked in a huge serving of cheese which we love! The dish was super cheesy and very fragrant! However, the penne was not very well cooked and tasted rather tough. Overall, food at TCC not fantastic and not worth the price (unless they're having the promo! hehehe).

Penne ($17) and Aglio Olio ($21)

We headed to bugis to do some shopping and got a forest green lacey dress for $15! It was a great day out with my sis!^^
