1. My tutee messaged me and told me that she is first in class for English SA2 and second in class for Science SA2!! She had improved leaps and bounds for her science and I was really overjoyed when I received this piece of good news!
2. We had Deepavali Celebrations today. I really like the outfits the students wore for the performances. The Saris were all so colourful, beautiful and glittery! At that moment, I was thinking of getting a qipao with glittery designs to be worn during chinese new year ^^. My mentor and I really enjoyed the performances, especially the dance segment and fashion show. The students were really into it (think how they swing the drapes over their shoulders hahaha) and they really walked like models hehehe! We were very entertained.
3. I finally sold my JC Foxy after posting it online for 6 months! I posted on Mydreambag (this instagram account created by kaykay), carousell and ST classified. I see how so many people have commented that mydreambag is a great platform to sell their preloved branded bags/shoes but I feel that people only go for selective brands and designs lor. I posted there for about 6 months, at a fee of $20, but nobody replied to my post :c This buyer who finally bought my Foxy saw my ad on Carousell...
Yes I felt this way when I received the money wooooo~
So today has been a great day for me! It's 1st November already and this means that Hunger Games is coming out in 2 weeks time! WHOOP! Finally a good movie to look forward to. I haven't watched a movie in the longest time -_-, feels so deprived x.x Oh yes, it was Halloween yesterday. Hopefully everyone had an enjoyable Halloween! Mine sure was awesome hehehe!
