Moving on to Toondoo, the kids had to create (this means trouble) an account and log in on their own. It was impossible. Why I say so? Because non of them actually succeeded in creating the account on their own. But to be fair, we did not teach them how to key in '@' and '_'. So most of them ended up with dashes instead of underscores when they key in their email addresses. Together with the other teacher, we managed to help most of them create an account (whoop!). A thing he noticed was that the class was very varied in terms of their knowledge about a computer. Some of the students have computers at home while others do not have.. For those who do not own a computer at home, they knew nothing about computers, much less know how to type on the keyboard. ICT classes should be divided into those who has computers at home and those who do not have computers at home. In that way, the former can learn more things at a quicker pace and the latter can be taught the basics (how to switch on computer, how to type etc). This is just a suggestion, it is difficult to split the class into 2 with only one teacher to a class, oh wells.
The class ended with only a few students who managed to create some cartoon strips. For the rest of the class, it was more like an exploratory and enjoy air con period for them, wooo~.
